Spotlight on Alex | Our Manual Driving Instructor

ALEX

Accredited Manual Canberra Driving Instructor

I’m a patient, approachable, and positive driving instructor who believes learning to drive should be both effective and enjoyable. I aim to create a relaxed environment where you feel comfortable, confident, and ready to learn.

I became a driving instructor because I’m passionate about helping new drivers build strong, safe habits from the very beginning—like using indicators properly and keeping left. My goal is to make sure these skills don’t just help you pass your test, but stay with you every time you’re on the road.

My teaching style blends structure with humour. I believe that if you’re laughing while you’re learning, you’ll retain the information better. When we connect lessons to positive emotions, it makes those skills easier to remember and apply in real driving situations.

There’s a method to my madness—and a bit of madness to my method—but everything I do is designed to make lessons memorable, practical, and tailored to you.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had such a great experience learning to drive with Josh! He was always patient, encouraging and really easy to learn from. He explained things clearly and made me feel comfortable asking questions or making mistakes, which helped me build my confidence a lot.

I really appreciated how he focused on making sure I was genuinely comfortable and competent with each skill rather than just rushing through lessons. He was also really good at giving helpful feedback without making me feel stressed or discouraged.

I’m really grateful for all the help and guidance Josh gave me throughout my lessons, and I’d definitely recommend him to anyone learning to drive!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My daughter recently had Josh from Road Ready teach her to drive. He was patient, knowledgeable, calm, and gave clear explanations, was relaxed about any mistakes and nervousness. He was always punctual and reliable and my daughter always felt encouraged and supported.

We were referred to this school by numerous people and now we refer others here as well.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our son had Alex from Road Ready Professional Driving School as his driving instructor. Alex was patient, knowledgeable, and able to build confidence in our son in an honest and caring way. Alex ensured that that he provided feedback to our son so that he was able to work on a particular weakness in between lessons in order to be a better and more confident driver.
We would highly recommend Road Ready Professional Driving School for the ease of bookings and the extra courses they encourage you to take to expedite gaining your provisional drivers licence and to make you a safer driver.
Thank you Alex and thank you to Carol.
